Padre fiorentino, madre pugliese, nata nel 1979 sotto il segno dei Gemelli, a Roma.

Già da piccola amavo fotografare, ma è durante il liceo che capisco che la mia passione può essere la mia professione.
È così che arrivo all’ISFCI (Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata di Roma). Anziché studiare architettura, imparo a fotografarne le forme, le linee, i suoi interni.

A 25 anni mi imbarco per una nuova vita a a Parigi e inizio a scattare per importanti magazine francesi. Torno poi a Roma per l’arrivo dei miei figli, Anna e Andrea.

Oggi scatto per magazine come Travel + Leisure, Traveller, Ideat, Departures, Living Corriere, e collaboro con i più importanti magazine italiani ed esteri di interni.
I figli sono cresciuti e posso viaggiare alla ricerca dei prossimi luoghi interessanti da raccontare con maggiore libertà.
Più che fotografare le case, cerco di ritrarle, di coglierne la storia. Chi le abita, chi le ha disegnate, chi le ha costruite: è seguendo il filo dei loro racconti di chi le ha vissute che arrivo a darne un ritratto fedele.

Faccio base a Roma in una casa che mi piace sia accogliente e piena di vita. Al centro del piccolo salotto che illumina l’ambiente avvolto da carte da parati di Morris, una grande luminaria pugliese per ricordare le feste di paese della mia infanzia. All’ingresso, una grande libreria piena di libri, oggetti di design classici e ricordi di viaggi per dare alla casa la trama della sua storia.

Ad oggi vivo a Roma… poi chissà.

Florentine father, Apulian mother, I was born a Gemini in 1979 in Rome.

I’ve always loved taking pictures, since childhood, but it’s during my high school years that I realize I can turn my passion into a career.
That’s how I get into the ISFCI (Superior Institute of Photography and Integrated communication) in Rome. Instead of studying architecture I focus on capturing its shapes, lines, interiors. I discover the elements I favor: interior, still life, food, lifestyle, portraits.

At 25 I begin a new life in Paris and start collaborating as photographer for several important French magazines.
I’ll go back to Italy, in Turin, when I’ll have my kids, Anna and Andrea.

As of today I take pictures for Travel+Leisure, Traveller, Ideat, Departures, Living Corriere and collaborate with the main Italian and foreign Interiors magazines.
My kids have grown and I can travel more, looking for the next interesting places to freely describe through my camera.
More than pictures, I try to capture portraits of the houses, to read their history. Who lives in them, who designed them, who built them: it’s through the thread of memories of those who are linked to those places that I’m able to photograph an accurate image.

I’m currently based in Rome, into a home everyone considers warm and full of life. The heart of the small living room covered in Morris’ wallpapers, a huge pendant lamp from Puglia, to remember the town festivals of my childhood. At the entrance a huge bookshelf filled with books, now my kids’ more than mine, design pieces, memories from travels, to shape my home on memories.

As of today I live back and forth from Rome to Palermo.
Who knows what the future holds next.
